As a result of the increased attention and concern about NeedleStick Injuries (NSI) in the dialysis setting, the Plume SP range of protected fistula needles has been developed, integrating a non-invasive safety device into the Plume S fistula needle design. Plume SP provides automatic protection during needle removal and disposal through its simple locking system.
Hospal is the market leader for Plume S and Plume SP needles. It offers a complete range of fistula needles provided with wings, rotating hub and clamp. All needles are sterilized by irradiation, which means that there are no EtO sterilization residues.
