The Crystal ST dialyser offers the efficacy of a hollow fiber with the safety of a plate. There is no risk of backfiltration, thanks to the compliant blood compartment. It is particularly well adapted to EPO-treated patients due to its low blood flow resistance and also to single-needled haemodialysis. No contact between blood and potting material prevents patient immunological sensitization to the potting compound.
